WELCOME STUDENTS, STAFF, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND VISITORS!

 

We are excited to kick off the 2015-2016 school year.  The school's focuses this year are to provide a quality education for all students through research based models, increase the number of opportunities for extra-curricular activities, increasing the amount of positive reinforcement, and incorporating the athabascan culture in to the daily routine of the school.  We believe with these focuses in place, our students will continue to progress and be ready to be succeed where ever their life takes them!

 

Walter Northway School has two new staff members joining us this year: Todd Groat, Math/Science, and Janine Holmes, 3rd through 5th Grade.

 

Please remember that parents, students, and community members are welcome in the school at anytime, but must check in at the office first.  If you would like to volunteer, please stop in at the school or call Scott Holmes.  You can also keep up with what is happening at Walter Northway School by checking out the school's facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/walter.northwayschool.  Make sure to check out the Weekly Warrior tab to see students, staff, and community members that have been nominated for promoting positive values from the athabascan culture.
